HOMETOWN: Dartmouth, Devon
After leaving school at the age of 18, Henry set off to sail single handed around Britain, with a view to one day be racing across oceans and around the world as a professional offshore sailor.
Since then he has been fortunate enough to work with many great teams all over the world, but, Henry's history with the Academy began in 2011/2012 when he was awarded the Artemis Offshore Academy Scholarship - competing in the 2012 La Solitaire du Figaro race finishing a respectable 31st.
In his second season on the Figaro Circuit, Henry improved his La Solitaire result by seven places following a year in training with the academy posting a 24th place finish and would go on to compete in the 2014 Figaro season finishing 28th in the La Solitaire du Figaro.
In 2015 Henry secured the highest British leg finish in the history of the La Solitaire du Figaro race finishing 4th in leg 2, unfortunately a bad tactical decision on the final leg to the finish left Bomby in 30th place overall.
